Idi Sangathi Movie

Mumbai Express gets derailed leading to death and a suitcase full of missing diamonds worth Rs 500 crore. Now, that is bound to turn anyone'€™s life upside down. So, it does for Swarajya Lakshmi and Murthy. From then on, their life is no longer under their control as the cops and just about everyone is on the lookout for stolen diamonds, the Prime Minister'€™s office included. This brings in more and more characters into the picture taking the story along. The finale, however, is on expected lines.

The film has it all to make it a superb rob and run story. However, the director focuses more on highlighting the human nature more than on the crime. In the bargain, we are left with a film that neither thrills nor chills. Also, it is an average budget film, so it does not have any scintillating chase sequences or extravagantly shot songs. The dialogues are good at places and that is a saving grace to a certain extent.

A marriage to someone you are madly in love with can feel quite awesome. Especially if you are the one getting married to her. Pellikani Prasad shows the three main obstacles in that process – getting her to love you back, getting her father to agree to the marriage, and staying alive till the first half ends. Fans of Sivaji can come in after the first half ends, fans of Allari Naresh can leave after the first half ends, and fans of good movie-making can leave after finishing this paragraph.

Let’s get the story out of the way first. Prasad (Allari Naresh) and Saroja (Sridevi) are in love, but Saroja’s father (Raghuvaran) hates love marriages so much, he’d probably make a couple fall in love just to stop them from getting married. However, his hatred pays off in the case of Prasad, who’s too dumb to get married to anyone anyway, love or no love. He emotionally blackmails Saroja to marry another Prasad (Sivaji) against her wishes.

The second half shows a flashback between the new Prasad and Saroja – how he falls in love with her, and how he tries desperately to woo her but gets spurned continuously. Does he land her? Where does the other Prasad come in from then? Who does Saroja marry? Who all die in the end? Will that include you? Who wrote the script for this? Where does he live? To know the answers to these and more questions, you’d have to watch the movie, just like us. Remember, there are no shortcuts to success.

Story

The film Gamyam comes as a ray of hope that Tollywood Industry is going in the positive way and will live to an extent in the year 2008. This year till date, we have been witnessing a series off flops from big stars like Balakrishna to Nagarjuna to small stars like Gopichand and Raja. Except for Krishna which was an average flick, all the other films were huge flops at the box office.

Gamyam the movie starts wit the story of a rich Guy Abhiram (Sarvanand). He is the younger sibling in the house and has grown up as a spoilt brat in the house. He is a son of a rich industrialist who has innumerable Riches and properties. As is the case with many rich people, Abhiram has also a bug in his mind that poor and middle classed people are ill mannered and are bad natured.
So Abhiram never mingles with people who are not up to his mark in the riches. At this time, he comes across a beautiful girl named Janaki (Kamalinee) . Janaki is an orphan who comes up in life the hard way. She is a doctor by profession and she serves the poor and the less privileged.
The two become close and mingle closely. However, Abhiram doesn’t like Janaki’s modest background and her social services. In the same way Janaki also hates Abhiram’s attitude of hating the poor and loving the richer class.

Janaki who becomes vexed with his attitude leaves him and goes away. Abhiram is now desperately in look out for Janaki.
Then enter the character named Seenu (Allari Naresh) who is a petty thief. Abhiram due to some incidents comes in contact with Seenu and with his help tries to trace out Janaki. The two search for Janaki on Seenu’s bike.
Abhiram finally manages to trace Janaki at a small village where she is serving the poor.

It is here that Abhiram learns the true meaning of life, while his long journey with Seenu makes him understand the lessons of human nature and also the realities inside the lives of the rich and the poor.
Finally, Abhiram changes in the climax and all ends in a happy note.
